Pollock: Artist or Scam?

Pollock: Artist or Scam?

Everyone lauds him for his creative thinking, but is Jackson Pollock a hack?
Did he have a good idea that just went too far? when does it stop
being art, and start becoming laziness? If I throw paint at a canvas, should
I be called an artist "in the style of Pollock"? or a hack?
I'm not saying you shouldn't express yourself, but not all means of expressing
yourself is art. Plus, a good artist always changes his style, constantly
improving on his technique.
I think Pollock became much too comfortable, and that's when it stopped being art.

It was never art...
Like a Phoenix rising from its ashes...
